Davidson River:

French Broad River:

The French Broad offers a large surface area for an exciting fishing experience. Offering a variety of gamefish including trout, smallmouth and musky. Rocky Broad River:

A beautiful, larger-sized creek running through the backwoods through Lake Lure that offers great trout fishing – from wild trout to larger sized trout!

South Toe:

A pristine fishery running from Mount Mitchell through the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Southern Appalachian Anglers will help you catch wild or trophy trout in this beautiful river.

North Toe:

North Toe river offers great fly fishing for brown trout and rainbow trout. With brown trout getting into the 20 to 28 inch range. With a delayed harvest section starting the headwaters everything downstream is full of fish!


Watauga River:

Running from North Carolina into Tennessee. Some of these backwoods are harder to navigate, but our guides will show you the way! With large brown trout to large wild trout – you never know what you’re going to hook into!

South Fork of The New:

A small river with big feisty fish! Some sections of this river are not easily found without directions from a local. Our fishing guides will take you there and help you catch the big ones! Trout up to 26 inches can be found!
